Mrs. Fleming’s second grade class does a unit each year on plant growth, local producers, and marketing strategies.  In conjunction with this unit, her class does a fundraiser and donates 100% of the profits to a local non-profit organization.  The class sells a soy-based candle that is produced locally.  On Tuesday, they will be presenting the Andre Bosse Center with a check for $450 from their efforts. This great life lesson, practical experience, and charitable deed will assist the students in becoming useful and productive citizens of our community.
