Lee Setterington Rhodes is very excited about coming back to Pentwater to attend her 45th Class Reunion during the Pentwater Homecoming festivities. Lee, a former Homecoming Queen and resident, will be riding in the Parade in a corvette this year driven by her Daughter, Dana Woodley Flowers and in the passenger seat will be her 86 year old mother, Ruby Setterington Rutherford. There will be four generations coming back for Homecoming.
In 1965, Oldsmobile was featuring summer festivals in their magazine and chose Pentwater Michigan for that addition. Oldsmobile supplied the car for the one crowned Homecoming Queen. Lee was fortunate to have the privilege of being the 1965 Homecoming Queen.
Lee’s Grandparents owned the local cleaners, and the A&W Root Beer stand many years prior, and her mother owned the Lakeside Inn for several years where Lee and her sister Judy, helped out each summer. Lee recently purchased a home in Pentwater for a summer residence. She grew up in the Charles Mears home. Once you live in Pentwater, you realize there is nowhere on earth quite like it. |

Fishing is very good right now. They are biting at 80-100 feet. Good baits are: Dream Weaver & Spin Doctor - the color is Black and Glow or Black and Chrome. - Captian Brent "Sportsman" |
