For almost four decades, Harbor Hospice has provided skilled, compassionate end-of-life care by addressing medical, emotional, and spiritual needs of terminally ill patients and their families regardless of their ability to pay for it.

Most hospice patients in our five-county West Michigan region chose to remain at home while in our care, but when that is not their choice or not the best option, we serve them where ever they are including nursing homes and at our Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon.

Each day at our Bob and Merle Scolnik Healing Center in Muskegon, grief counselors offer support groups and one-on-one time for family members, partners, friends, and care givers learning how to cope with heartache and loss.  Because we believe so strongly in the power of grief support, our services are free of charge and available to everyone.

Harbor Hospice is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and our services for which there is a fee are covered by most health insurance plans.
