United Way of the Lakeshore works to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health – the building blocks for a good life. Serving residents of Oceana, Muskegon and Newaygo counties, United Way is a 501(c)3 organization which raises money through an annual campaign, distributes it to dozens of health and human service programs and collaborates with others to create long-lasting change.

Volunteers are the key to success at United Way, helping us keep our administrative and fundraising costs low. Local citizens raise money, assess program outcomes and distribute funds to agency programs. We encourage people to GIVE. ADVOCATE. VOLUNTEER.
